HelioRoast micro-roasts specialty coffees on Treasure Island in San Francisco, California. We use 100% renewable energy (53% solar, 47% wind) to power our electric roasters, and only roast on-demand. All orders are shipped via the USPS the same day in fully-compostable bags. (We're the first San Francisco roastery to do all of these.) This allows us to provide artisan-quality beans at or below ordinary prices which are shipped to you in packages that do not end up in the Great Pacific Plastic Patch.
